The Chinese final of the 55th Miss World contest was held in Beijing's Huairou on that day. Zhao Tingting from Beijing, Cui Xinxin from Jiangsu and Mao Huan from Xinjiang won the championship, second and third places respectively.
Champion Zhao Tingting will, as Miss China, take part in the final of the 55th Miss World contest to be held in south China's Sanya city in November.
